Time for a little trivia? One of my summer projects has been a major sorting out of my dining room which is my work room/dumping ground and rarely gets eaten in. It's almost a thing of beauty. In the course of my sorting I have discovered a little collection of empty matchboxes. Clearly I was saving them for a very important reason but it's not as obvious to me as the reason for saving toilet roll tubes or teabag boxes. So, your challenge...help me come up with 101 uses for a matchbox. My family once did this for a white carrier bag - whiled away a very dull car journey!

Have a look at this link, http://michaelrosenb...ner-writes.html I hope Ofsted have been primed and are prepared to be challenged if they suggest we use phonics in the EYFS. This is a lady after my own heart, what do you think?

The sky is grey, my feet are frozen, I feel wheezy and miserable, I'm bored of planning, people from school keep sending me irritating me e-mails and I'm fed up! I can't possibly justify making more cake or biscuits (Sunnyday made quite a good dent in the ones I made yesterday but there are still plenty left!) so... does anyone want to play 'Guess what I bought?' It cost less than £20.

I tried confused. com and came up with 48 different quotes, some from companies i have never heard off...... Does anyone out there have any advice to point me in the right direction.
