hi i know i am a bit ahead of myself ( but am expecting ofsted from september onwards so want to be organised) - does anyone have a parent questionnaire i could have a look at and adapt for my setting please? we usually send one out towards the end of the school year but didnt this year and wondered whether to send one out for new starters for their input and wait a while then send one out for ones that stayed on with us ? thanks x

I had a hospital appointment today to be told that all is well with my surgery site and that in fact everything has healed remarkably well so that the scar, only 4 months on, is hardly visible. The surgeon was so pleased he called another surgeon in to look at it!! For those not in the know I had 37 stitches in my face in March, to remove a tumor that turned out to be cancer. Whilst not expecting to hear anything untoward today there's always a little niggle that the doctor might just say something you don't want to hear. So now I feel it's time to relax down into the summer break!! Pimms here I come!!!

Well, after all the hard work getting it ready and keeping it a huge surprise. it's safe to say our Graduation party was a huge success. This year, we abandoned the gowns and mortar boards and followed the children's interest in.......Harry Potter.............every one of the was dressed up in HP outfits, complete with big glasses and 'scar'. We were loaned a 16th century Manor house for the day ( we were SO lucky, a former parent has moved out prior to renovating it, and she just allowed us to have the run of the place, it was fantastic as Hogwarts!) We decorated the place out with cutouts from the HP film, got the children to pull funny faces which we photographed for …

Well, for a week at least. I'm off to Austria tomorrow with the family, where I fully intend to run to the top of a mountain, spin around winsomely and deploy my celebrated falsetto! Or possibly just try on some leather shorts. Anyway - if anyone tries to PM me, don't be surprised if I don't respond too quickly. Hope you all have a lovely week as the weather slowly and laboriously improves. And if summer not only starts, but draws to an end before I return, please note that I may be a little grumpy when I next post!

Well, after a really tuff end of preschool year - children wonderful, just it seemed all staff had major family issues in one way or other :( . We are finally finsihed :lol: I am so worn out, I cannot even begin to think of my summer 'to do list'. anyone want to share their's? ( just to help get my brain back in gear!) at the moment mine reads- Do the revised EYFS stuff Visit staples to buy lots of shiney new things to go with above EYFS stuff! xxx
