Have to say that I thought long and hard before posting.........I fell really, really 'stupid' and 'negligent', but if I can stop anyone from doing what I have done........ A dear (and rather elderly) friend saves all of her boxes for me for junk modelling - I just simply take these boxes out of the carrier bag that she delivers them in and add them to our box of 'boxes'....... So....today, as we are nearing the end of term.......my deputy was sorting through the boxes and deciding what we would keep - just tubes really - they're like 'gold dust'........anyway what did she come across - a 'bottle' of aspirin....... As I said - I feel 'stupid' - what an idiot -…

well what a week - firstly one of my fab members of staff has been poorly with suspected glandular fever but thankfully is recovering and hopes to be back next week - fingers crossed Tues had to talk to member of staff regarding attitiude to children and whether she wanted to continue working. She said she was not happy and was considering leaving , I had guessed this anyway hence why i initiated chat, she said she would think about what she wanted to do. wednesday was a sad day my friend and neighbour of 12 years , who i laughed with, cried with and picked up from the floor so many times was laid to rest. I managed to keep it together to sing a solo of ' Eterna…

So sorry I just couldn't resist the opportunity to run a Fed thread (so to speak!!) Whilst Fed is not my most favourite player I appreciate his playing, his game, his manner, his whole gentlemanly approach. I wish him every success on Sunday because whilst Murray may be British (or according to him Scottish) he is always so bloody grumpy looking and loves the sound of his own voice. I PERSONALLY do not feel he is the sort of person I want to see as a British icon! I DO SO HOPE FED WINS!

Having a bad evening, got my 6 year olds school report, and it comes across as being really negative. It's very hard, I teach at the school, I know his teacher really well, I love her to bits and she was the perfect teacher for him. He finds the academic stuff so hard, I know all that, he is also incredibly sensitive, very emotional, cries easily and she's put lots about this in the personal section at the end. It's really upset me, I know all that, we've discussed it, he's come on so much in confidence over the last couple of months - tonight he even talked to the barber which he would never have done before! He is well behaved, polite, kind, popular, never in trouble, c…

Next week I go back to work after a year off on maternity leave I will be returning to my post as fs leader. The teacher who has been covering was a yr 6 teacher from within the school and will be returning to year 6. She has done an amazing job whilst I have been off and I know she has loved every second and wanted to stay in FS. I feel so guilty going back to my job as I know how much she has loved it. Do u think it's patronising if I get her some flowers to thank her? X

Two weeks ago i had surgery to replace the nipple I lost during my breast cancer surgery, today was the big unveiling, and well! all the stitches are out ( way more than I expected, it seemed like a big hairy caterpillar on my breast!), BUT,it looks sensational, I am delighted, so let's hope it's here to stay! Surgeon asked if i had any questions, so I said yes, I would like his and my nurses opinion on something about the nipple please? They both looked at it and I pulled out a pair of tassels i had in my pocket and said, 'I'm not sure, what do you think?? Velcro or blutak'??? Their faces were an absolute picture, and all three of us dissolved in fits of giggles. Today,…

I need help on choosing a camera from you fair people please Something for around £100? At a gig ealrier this year I couldnt take photos because the flash was usless, the action mode was rubbish and the night time mode needed a tripod. But the lad next to us took photos that made it look like he was in his living room with eveyone posing for him! I was so jealous but by the time I thought of asking him about his camera, he'd gone. It was just a small, hand held thing like a cannon or kodak. So, any ideas? :1b

Have just been watching a news item all about David Cameron leaving his daughter in the pub! Reminded me of when our youngest son was just a few months old..........we left home for a camping holiday in Somerset..............leaving him asleep in his carry cot on the sofa  luckily we realised what we had done about 5 miles down the road! :1b
