Had to laugh, had some post from my bank this morning and this was what was inside it their updated Execution Policy - just wondered when they had to do it in mind. Upon reading found out that it related to any investments I might have (ha ha) and explained how they are going to ensure that any business is conducted in line with current regulations. Surely they could have found a better name for this policy, or perhaps we should have one named the same for how we will carryout the new eyfs :P

I want to ask opinions please - especially anyone who's a parent. We made Easter cards today - we talked about what things reminded us of Easter then I gave them the backing paper cut to a size which will fit on a folded card and they put whatever they liked on the front in the media of their choice. There were lots of collage chocolate bunnies, drawn easter eggs with beautiful patterns on etc etc etc. Most are already stuck to cards and pegged up in the classroom looking lovely. I have 3 little ones though for whom 'picture making' isn't a strong point and what they have produced is a swirl of colours covering their backing paper completely. They are happy …

They have actually got 'better' in terms of the original underlying issues - speech imporving, frustration reducing etc..but the behaviour is continuing and as there is less of a 'reason' for it it is increasingly difficult to avoid the other childresn 'naughty labelling'. Where we once told other children that "X needs help to tell you what they need" and "X is only just learning to use her words - this is why sometimes she pushes or takes toys - we need to help her to ask first...etc now they respond "but …
