I received a telephone call last week to tell me that I have been selected for an Ofsted Good Practice Visit "on the basis of prior evidence that indicates we are likely to find good practice in your setting relating to partnership working" PLEASE don't tell me 'that's great' or 'how fabulous' or 'what a compliment' ..... I'm too busy being panic stricken and feeling queasy to take it in........ The visit will last 2-3 hours and include observation of an activity or play session, feedback from parents or other professionals, discussions with me, examination of documentation and feedback AND photographs The visit will inform a case study of good practice that…

to add a link - open the reply box.. Just above is a series of icons.. run your mouse over them until you find one that says ' insert link' ( green with a + sign on it) ( MAKE SURE YOU HAVE COPIED THE URL YOU WANT BEFORE THE NEXT STAGE) click on the icon and you get a pop up box.. it says - 'please enter the full URL ' - paste the url you want into this box, (remove the htpp bit if you are doing it this way ) click OK and you get a second box pop up.. in here write a description of the page or here or whatever you want to be the name of the link... click OK and the link should be there... . now have a go in this tread and have fun add…

One Of 'those' Days

I have spent this evening trying to analyse why tuesdays are such a difficult day at my setting and have not come up with an answer. The children today are all children who happily attend other days and the staff are the same mix so why do we all leave on a tuesday with headaches and sighs of exasperation. Does anyone else have one day a week where it just all seems to go wrong?
