Hi all i really need your help! i entered a competition on Juice Fm a local radio station in Liverpool where I live and I am down to the final 5! The prize is a VIP lifestyle including an apartment in liverpool city centre for a year, bar tabs, free meals out etc etc. I need to get as many votes as possible to win by Sunday and the winner is announced Monday! I have some wooden chairs that are lovely ( from Morleys), BUT they slip and slide on the carpet area. So, I need to buy something to stop this.......I bought some plastic stopper type bungs from Morleys, but these don't do the job at all, so I then tried some cheap rubbery stick on circles from Poundland, and these don't work either. So, any ideas please???

Ok all you wise ones out there.....Headers & Footers!!! I create page one of a document and put a header on....looks very nice but I only want it on page one! I get to bottom of page and continue to type on page 2 and flippin header pops up....uninvited I try to click in header bit to remove header on page 2 and it goes but when I look at page 1 it has gone from there too :( So oh wise ones.....anyone have a simple instruction to help me have only the header on page 1 that doesn't include me creating a completely separate word document for page 2,3, 4 etc..... I hate technology sometimes

To everyone waiting for an answer about the places they, or their children have applied for... could this be MORE stressful! We are all gibbering idiots but she has at last had a conditional offer so we might sleep again. And I have two more children to do this with!!!

We have the Community Playthings drying rack (fabulous) and would like another drying rack for the other room, of a similar type. Trouble is, the CP one is now £424 inc VAT!!! Do any of you lovely folk know where I can get something similar, for about half the price? We don't want one of the all metal lifting up type, as that's what we're replacing

Well here it is, I'm at 1,999 posts so this must be my 2000th post. I thought I'd give it it's own little thread so it didn't get lost, although it did nearly go to Maz to say Happy birthday but I guess 2001 can do that just as well. Hi there. its half term for many people (not me, sob!) and the forum is about to have a birthday! (on Tuesday should you be interested). For a bit of fun only, I bought something this morning. What was it? Im going to give just one clue, it was less than £20!
