Are you considering purchasing a climbing frame... before you go out and spend, spend spend look no further that here. We are looking to sell our Galt Climbing frame complete with all safety mats it currently sits inside our nursery, however, it could be positioned under a canopy outside. The apparatus is in excellent condition as it is used infrequently. The mats are in excellent condition too. The climbing frame is complete with climbing house, scramble ladder, slide, A frame and all mats. ...well I have had the week from hell, I can't please anyone - adults that is - children are fine. Deputy manager has built up a list, an assasination list as it turns out, supervisor is too laid back and lets the children do what they want; unqualified L2 trainee is good with children but needs to use common sense and turn her hand to jobs like snack or storytime; staff mem. works hard but has her own "agenda" what ever that means; another is unreliable and has too much time off - her own daughter in law who has had health problems and I have been trying to be supportive; another is off too often when her daughter is ill this Tuesday was the first …

Well that's a first - one of my mother's has just text to say that after much consideration ................. they are sending their youngest to a different nursery from September, thank you blah blah blah. I have seen this mother twice a week (she works part time) for over 2 years, both her children come to us, one is off to primary the younger, we thought would be staying is going to go to a pre-school 5 mins along the road from ours. It isn't because he is going, or I'm losing business to someone else, I just can't get my head round it, that this mother feels this is an appropriate way to tell me.

Sue's Glastonbury thread reminded me of this.......does anyone else have a list of 'things to do before I die'? So.....today is the hottest day of the year in my part of the world...... Meet and greet this morning "hello everyone, have you all got your sun cream on and your hats with you" , lots of lovely positive replies from all but one.....a dad - who took me to one side and said "we've fallen out of love with putting chemicals all over her skin, how can that be better than the sun, she has got a jacket in her bag if you want to use it"....... I was completely flabbergasted - I have never experienced this in 30 years.......am I missing something?
