On the hearth of my sitting room fireplace I have a stone 'bedwarmer' - one of my granddaughters was showing an interest in it today and wondered if she could take to school as her class and I quote "are doing the Victorians!" My decision was - no, you can't take that, but......how about this - this being one of those green glass (lemonade?) bottles with a marble inside..... I would love to know how old they are - I'm thinking probably not Victorian? Have tried a 'Yahoo search' without any luck and wondered if anyone had any idea?

Is the ratio of 1 to 13 in Nursery applicable to a Reception class with some under 5s in it? Or can they have a class of 30 with one teacher and NO TA and still be within the legal guidelines? HELP PLEASE SOMEONE CLEVER!

Hi there everyone! I was hoping someone on FSF might be able to offer so advice or guidance!! My daughter (who's 9) got a rabbit for her birthday - after much thought! - and she is absolutely gorgeous!! She is a lop ear rabbit (called Midnight!) and is about 23 weeks old. Well I kept rabbits all through my childhood - and I never heard one make a noise..... although I thought they do when they are being hunted.. That was until this rabbit!! She grunts and squeaks all the time! She is not very lap friendly but both my daughter and I hold her every day for a cuddle and a stroke. She also has a run in the garden which is enclosed so every day she has …
