Hope you can help...........................well, I KNOW you can, so here goes! Someone recently described how they send home books with the children and put in a sheet, asking what the parent/child thought of the story etc................can anyone help me to find it please? I'd like to do something similar with our children and it seemed such a nice idea, I'd like to steal it please! Thankyou

"OMG! LOL's in the OED. LMAO!" Alternatively....Golly gosh! The popular initialism LOL (laughing out loud) has been inducted into the canon of the English language, the Oxford English Dictionary. Blimey! What is going on? Why did LOL infiltrate the language? Good to see the Oxford English Dictionary keeping up with the times me thinks....or is this the thin edge of the wedge??? Sue - TTFN

Some will have followed how much my son has been through in the last 5 years... what with Uni, Cancer and all that goes with it... ( also in my blog) well now comes the next stage, his move to Perth, Australia... with his partner Hannah. They are at this very moment sat in an empty house with a few suitcases waiting for the landlord to come and check the house before setting off to Heathrow in my car! He had this job offer fall in his lap just before Christmas, not a move they had even considered, but it all happened so fast and now they are going.. so this weekend we are going to Heathrow to spend Saturday with them and see them off on Sunday, we will …
