Hi everyone, just wanting to let off steam a bit and perhaps get some advice, I have recently been promoted from a support worker to a practitioner after completeing my nvq3, I have moved to a different room but am working with a lady who is so opinionated and stuck in her ways that she winds me up. She upset me today because, bearing in mind it is only my second week and I am still learning about my different shifts responsibilities, she shepherded the children into the bathroom before they went outside and then came over to me got quite colse to me and said something like." I've seen a Rec teacher post at a school near me that is expanding to have a larger PAN. hence why the post is available. I'm happy in my current situation but am the only EYFS teacher in a small school, and had always thought that eventually I would like to lead EYFS provision, which is not going to happen where I am because it is only one intake (I suppose I'm already leading that!) The school (on website) looks great, really well resourced and I think it would be good to work in a EYFS team. But like I say I am happy where I am and don't wantto 'rock the boat' in a small school if I apply and don't get it Lucie x

But I increasingly don't! It's never been a factor before and have been very happy as an Aunt and never had the urge to get married and have a family of my own. I've have had a good varied and interesting career so far doing many things in addition to my main role as a class teacher. I have been given extra responsibilities finding less and less time for myself and not enjoying this. As…
