Not sure if this is the same sort of post as the last one, but am in school based Nursery and want to design our Nursery page on the school website. Any one know of any good examples I can look at to make ours more interesting?

I have just finished reading this book and have to say how fantastic and moving it was. From a subject which I mostly try and avoid it tackles a terrible situation and makes you question your own relationships with children and how children cope with what they think is 'normal' It made me think of child development and how Im always racking my brain for creative activities with children. Jack and his sitation will stay with me for a long time

Today we received our Red Nose Day support pack. What a gift! This half term we have been 'doing The Gruffalo'. I'm now thinking of creating an activity that will build on our Gruffalo hunt in the woods, in-cooperate red nose character stickers, and raise money! I have an hour spare on the train journey to Nursery World Show tomorrow, so may manage it! Next half term is Transport.... and Dave (the little boy from Uganda featured in the posters) wants to be a driver, perfect! Thank-you Red Nose Crew, planning sorted!

I have found it like stepping back in time ... and wonder if some of the traditions are really not as bad as they seem.. but still have my doubts..and questions having researched my family tree I do find that actually one of my ancestors was a Romany who settled rather than…

My 7 year old DD is currently being assessed for ASD/OCD/SPD and is working with CAMHS to help manage her anxiety and compulsive behaviours like picking her nails until they bleed, touching and turning in circles. She has also insisted that she is a tomboy or a boy for most of her life and has not worn a dress for about 3 years. Her school are doing a production of Cinderella in a couple of weeks and her class are to be guests at the ball and perform a dance. We've been asked to get dresses with tight bodices and big skirts. G would like to wear a boy's costume because she cannot bear the humiliation of standing on a stage in front of 100 or so people in a dress. She …
