I've had this message from a colleague ..... "I was wondering if you've ever heard of a Christmas play about 10 Christmas angels. They each bring a gift to the stable. I worked with a teacher years ago who did it and now I would like to pass it on to someone." Does anyone know?

Hi everyone, My apologies for neglecting my 'birthday greeter's' role recently. I've been feeling 'off' for ages now and have finally been diagnosed as diabetic....type 2. It's a bit complicated with having high blood pressure too but at least I know why I've felt very tired with no energy. Trying to be positive about everything and just thankful I can control the diabeties with diet and tablets. Yes....as I am rather portly I am on a fairly strict diet to lose lots and lots of weight. If only will-power could be bottled!! Am off to the Bull Ring in Birmingham tomorrow for a long weekend to cheer myself up with some retail therapy...........will let you kn…

has anyone ever taken part in any voluntary work over christmas? i have had a quick look for ideas online but don't know where to start, the thing is we feel as a family that instead of just enjoying the usual dinner with extended family etc and far too many presents we would like to give something back to others, we have been talking about it for a few years but want to try to sort something out for this year any thoughts or ideas or past experiences would be great!

I'm not sure I'll get any replies but everyone here is so lovely and I am kind of hoping to get some support from someone who may have been/know somebody who has been in my position. Even as I write this I'm thinking I shouldn't as no replies will probably make me feel worse The basic problem is I'm hormonal - that's the top and bottom of it. My moods swing drastically and I cry - I mean really cry - can't control it cry - for no reason at all. The background is that at 42 I have 2 girls aged 16 and 7 and lost a baby at 11 weeks just before Christmas last year and another one at 5 weeks last month. Before we had our first I had 4 early miscarriages that weren't …

OK so its very sterotypical, but for goodness sake, why cant they ever find anything? Hubby couldnt find his van keys this morning. He said ( ) he searched everywhere and then got me to stop what I was doing (writing his invoices) to help in the hunt. Everywhere I suggested, he'd already looked in, and gave me the that sigh that really means 'I'm not that stupid' He went to work with the spare key but told me dramatically to 'carry on looking, theres a really important key on there'. So, I stopped to think and then looked where he'd looked, and found them, hanging on a nail in the garage. The lads will ask me for something later on and I'll be able to find…

Hi all, Am sure i have moaned about this woman before, but she is really driving me and staff mad. She complains and moan over any slight matter, she wants a written report b/c her child was bitten and name of child, we said no, staff wrote a short note and gave it to her, not good enough wants one with a letter headed paper. She owns fees, which is partly paid by college, but when appointment are booked it is either she is too busy, or she is ill can't make it. We stopped her bringing her child in for days not covered by college, she rained abuses on us, saying we are unprofessional, all we care is about money etc etc. A staff asked child after having a week off, ho…
