Teenage Car Insurance 1 2

Can anyone help. My son is 17 years old and holds a provisional driving licence, he has passed this theory test and WAS having driving lessons, but has now decided its not worth him going in for his test as he wont be able to afford to buy, run and insure a car. Does anyone know of a good insurance company that doesn't charge a fortune for his age. So far we are getting quotes for £2 - 3 thousand pounds I can truely understand why some kids don't bother to get insured. I really want him to go for his test so that it's out of the way, but can appreciate what he is saying.

So, I came across an old newspaper in the loft, wrapping up some mugs I was sending to a charity shop and amongst the usual stuff was the TV listings. It set me wondering about us all, and our preferences in our teen years. so, were you: Starsky or Hutch? Donny or Michael or David? Smith or Jones? (Hannibal Heyes or Kid Curry) - can you think of any others? I was Hutch, Donny and Heyes!

Just wondering if anyone knows any students about to come to Bristol or UWE who might be interested in helping in either Scouting or Guiding. I'm involved in both, very close to Bristol Uni halls and currently seeking both an assistant Rainbow leader and a Scout leader. I can find other age groups too on most days of the week. Thanks Alwyn

I've just read the exciting news that series 4 will be shown on BBC 4 in early September! I don't know anyone else that watches it and I have been glued to it since it started. The show is quite amazing! That's all ppp

I'm sure someone has already mentioned this but I'm tearing my hair out trying to update all our paperwork simply because some new residents in Westminster have decided to change the names of everything! No DCSF (and I'd only just got the letters in the right order!), no "safeguarding" (back to "child protection" apparently) and now I have to delete a section on my Fair Processing Notice about ContactPoint. I'm having to read everything with a fine tooth comb. I appreciate they want to make their mark but can't we keep some terminology the same?
