Hi, I'm looking to change my preschool website host this year to a more user-friendly one, so I can upload newsletters etc and make regular adjustments. At the moment it's a major job just to upload the thing once a year - and that's if I can remember how from one year to the next!!! So I've looked at a couple, and I think Weebly looks good - does anyone use them, or can anyone make suggestions which may help. It's my summer holiday 'to do' so no bursting rush ...

We all know that if you translate something into a different language and back to English that you can get strange results. If you do this through several different languages the results may not bear much resemblance to your original sentence - rather like Chinese Whispers. So for this months competition I have taken lines from well known Nursery Rhymes and done just that! Your challenge is to work out what on earth the original line was. As always the winner will receive a cheque for £20 and a Fsf goody, the runner up will also receive one of our goodies. One random entrant, drawn from a hat, will also get a prize regardless of how many right answers you have, so…

Just wanted to say thank you to all those who offered some very wise words when I asked for help recently. Things have been worked out and we have a happy outcome for all concerned, parents and children alike. I don't know what I would have done without you as it was all pretty stressful and it was good to talk as the saying goes. I sure know where to come for advice in the trickiest of situations! You know who you all are, so "THANK YOU VERY MUCH" A very happy BMG

So we have been getting the usual presents of chocolates and mugs which are lovely and very gratefully received by all. Then one of my key children's mum came round with the rose she had bought me. It was a beautiful colour and called "Remember me!" I haven't stopped blubbing since! I was pretty emotional about this little girl leaving anyway as we have all been on quite a journey with her and have had to put in quite a fight to make sure she has a really good prospect for next year and this was just the last straw. Sometimes we probably all feel a bit unappreciated but today I feel loved which should carry me through next year as well with a bit of luck. Hope everyone …

I have officially left Pre School!!!! Whoopeee!!! I have 3 weeks holiday before I start my new job as a Family Support Worker. No rest though - still studying towards achieving my FDEY with the OU - but loving the freedom, lack of paperwork, no planning, no files, no mither, emails, phone calls Had a very emotional send off on Friday, and some lovely pressies and flowers - my house looks like a florist shop - lots of memories to treasure but am ready for something new.

Early Years will be one practitioner down from Wednesday as I head off to pastures new - KS2 to be precise, so not a quantum leap, but still... Thanks to everyone on here who has come up trumps with advice and guidance over the past couple of years, it has been a great resource for me. I'll still be involved in Early Years at a strategic level in a local charity, so may pop in from time to time, but won't be around much. Happy trails people, DDC
