Well I'm back again with my good news... ...after lots of conversations "cutting back this bit" and "find something else to replace that with" I have had confirmation and have signed the agreement for a very large sum. This is to extend our baby room, put in some doors to give us direct access to outdoors, some safety surfacing, UVA canopy and for the demolition of the old sheds which stop us having outdoor access and a few other bits and pieces. So to say I am a tad chuffed is putting it mildly, now lets get that planning permission sorted... I hope that we can get it all done before winter weather sets in. Hi Everyone, The turf was layed today in the new building, it looks amazing. We find out tomorrow how much of our funding application has been allocated, we asked for 21, 000, so fingers crossed, although I seriously doubt we will get anywhere near that amount. Anyway we will be placing an order of some decription on Friday. Will post some pictures soon...promise.

Well as many of you read earlier this year my baby niece spent almost 3 months, and her first birthday, in hospital in Leeds after contracting meningits. She was seriously ill and I have no doubt that the care she received saved her life. She has made an amzing recovery and there is only an issue with her eyes now although we know that she has some vision and they are working hard to correct it completely. During this emotional rollercoaster one of the girls at my pre-school suggested that we run the Jane Tomlinson Leeds 10k and of course I said yes!!!!!! So there I was this morning, suited and booted ready to go off and deliver a session about reading with your child to a group of parents at our local Children's Centre. I was just about to pick up my car keys and say my farewells when I hear the magic words. "My name is Mrs Ofsted and I'm here to do your inspection". So a hasty phone call to the CC to say I couldn't come to play today, and then bring it on.
