Full 'snow' moon and penumbral lunar eclipse this evening. Often these events happen at silly o'clock, but this one begins around 10.30pm, so some of you will still be partying. The penumbra eclipse appears to make the moon sort of silvery on a clear night. Then we have the green new year comet '45p' in the early hours, but you will need a telescope for that one. Happy viewing.

Just want to let you know about some lovely puppets we found on Puppets By Post.com............all puppet compnay stuff, but their clearance page has some absolute bargains on there right now, but be quick ! have just spent a fair few £'s, but have some super stuff.........free delivery on purchases over £10 too.................. worth a look. I bought some aliens, some multicultural people, some police/park keeper etc puppets...................

So here it is the launch of a new campaign..... Pounds for pups is the governments new initative for those of us in early years who have dogs who require Doggy day care. Thanks to the launch of the 30 free hours for children the government have followed this scheme by intoducing "POUNDS FOR PUPS" If you are working in early years for 16 hours or more at minimum wage (government estimates this will be 50% of the workforce but the RSPCA have said this is more likely to be 99%) and own one or more dogs you will receive 30 hours of free dog care ...of course you will require more than 30 hours in order to work.
