A few years ago a student I worked with said that when singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star you must NEVER form forefinger and thumb from each hand in a diamond shape because in sign language it is signing for er lady bits she said her college tutor had told her this and they were told never to do it. I took my little one to a baby group last week where we sang songs at the end and when doing twinkle twinkle the surestart workers both looked at each other and then did alternative signs for diamond which makes me wonder whether what this student said was in fact true. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Just had to share with you all. For the past 18 months I have been a brownie leader in training. Slowly working my way through the Adult Leadership Qualification for guiding. Welllll.........tonight I have finally got all 4 modules signed OFF. Modules 1 - 3 have been singed off between a year to 2 months ago. So that left module 4 to get done so I can be in charge when needed. Yipppeeee It now needs to go to the relevent people in county to get it checked. Which may take a while. Not bad considering I have in the same time frame, I have finished a Foundation Degree early years and done my gcse courses. Plus my mentor has been busy with courses too. …

I rang our caretake (on his way home) and asked why the alarms were going off? It was because everyone had left! So the alarm aoutomatically goes to some alarm place who alert the police who had got called out! What do you think my chances of being in trouble tomorrow are? boo hoo ut i bet i'm not the ony one!
