After several years spent running a hotel in sunny Guernsey and being a nanny to the proprietors two small boys when she was 'off duty', my daughter is now back on the big rock and living in North Yorkshire. She's been working as a veterinary assistant but has now decided she wants to be a classroom assistant. So the questions are - what training should she be looking out for? Where from? How much is it likely to cost? How long will it take? What's the salary going to be like when she's 'done'? (she's currently on £7 an hour) and anything else you can think of that she's not thought of!

Hello, Thank you to all of you lovely EYPs and EYP candidates (you know who you are!!!....I don't!!!) who spared the time to reply to my questionnaires for my Dissertation. Your imput was extremely valuable to my research and helped towards my mark of 76% and an A for the Dissertation Thanks again .....I will be joining the ranks of the EYPs next year!!!! Just a quick technical question........ I don't log off as I can never remember my password and then every so often I can't get into the forum as it seems to have logged out somehow. I get slightly panicky as I seem to need my forum fix to keep me sane! Any ideas why this might be happening?

Hi Everyone!!! We are doing alice as our book day theme (reception) both myself and the ta's are dressing up as characters. I want to make various scenes on card for round the classroom including some large playing cards and signs saying this way that way etc Snack will be a tea party with various teapots, chairs, cups on table and jam tarts and cakes iced with eat me. There will be clocks and mirrors and bunting butterflies and over grown flowers around the room.
