Can any of you help please.....we currently use glasses for snack time..quite a few, although shatterproof have got chips in and I am thinking of changing to melamine? What do you use and where did you get them from? Also I need a better thermometer, I currently have a silly forehead one...was thinking of the Braun ear thermometer - any views on this too? Thanks

HI All I have been wondering about posting this message but know in my heart of hearts if there is any advice out there then this is where I will find it Before I start rambling I want to make it very clear that there are absolutely no racist 'overtones' or is it undertones in this message. The situation is that my eldest son has a girlfriend who is not English - it doesn't bother me in anyway whatsoever. So are we all thinking up some great resolutions for the coming year? I didn't manage to keep mine last year - I said I would write to my Mum in Yorkshire at least once a month. I didn't manage it - and I'm blaming technology for that! She discovered Windows Live Messenger, so she chats to me online most evenings; she texts me on her mobile, most days, and of course we speak on the telephone. I did write some letters of course, as it's always nice to get letters. So, now I'm trying to think of what I can do THIS year - has anyone got some good ideas yet?

Belt/apron type things that have pockets in them like those that market stall holders wear but without zips? Just right for a small note pad, pen, gloves etc. Some of you may already have one as part of your uniform, I did about 7 years ago but can't for the life of me remember what name they'd have! ppp
