Well, we are all set for our nativity on Monday, rehersals are going well, apart from when I sent the xmas tree flying of the stage with my rather large bottom Have bought each child (40) a selection box (bribe, no way!!) fingers crossed all goes well. The Facts of Life This is a story about four people named Somebody, Everybody, Anybody & Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it but Nobody realised that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done!!

Hey all, just needed to let off a bit of steam and perhaps ask some advise too. Our school had OFSTED a few weeks ago - were inspected under the new framework and lets just say it didnt go well at all. Have to say foundation stage (I am FS leader and we have a Nursery and reception classes) did quite well but not as well as I was expecting to do. However the whole school is now in a complete panic as things need to change very quickly or else! Hi all you guys out there....wahoo its the weekend!!!! Just wanted to check with you all, I have a child in my class who certainly is very good with numbers. Has a good understandin of the number system, uses numbers with three digits confidently etc and has exceeded NLC 9 on the scales. I moved onto teaching him about odd and even numbers today, and within 5mins sitting with him 1-1 grasped the concept. Later on he wrote a 3 digit number on the whiteboard ending in a seven and he could tell me it was an odd number. I asked him how he knew that, so underneath he drew 7 dots paired six up and said ' this ones left out so its odd'. I was absolutely amazed. I then…

going to have to ask for your help i'm afraid, i recently saw a post where somone replied with an attachment which outlined the theorists different points of view and an attachment of somthing else, i have no idea who wrote it, what the original topic was about but remember it was of some use to me?!? i know this is a long shot and rediculous so sorry, i did save them at the time but they have dissapeared
