I've seen this in two different forums today so aoplogies if you've seen it already but it made me laugh. Health & Safety and Equality Considerations for Christmas Songs The Rocking Song Little Jesus, sweetly sleep, do not stir; We will lend a coat of fur, We will rock you, rock you, rock you, We will rock you, rock you, rock you: Fur is no longer appropriate wear for small infants, both due to risk of allergy to animal fur, and for ethical reasons. Therefore faux fur, a nice cellular blanket or perhaps micro-fleece material should be considered a suitable alternative. Please note, only persons who have been subject to a Criminal Records Bureau …

I am just creeping in here, though I want to shout from the rooftops I get a bit embarrassed sometimes so just want to quietly share something! I am a bit limited in exactly what I can but am sure many of you will be able to read between the lines An organisation that is in the business of providing study materials for students is currently updating some of their materials and I have been invited to view certain aspects before it goes to publication I have been told that they value my thoughts and look forward to my constructive feedback I am so delighted to have been asked and of course said yes. I have had it all confirmed in writing and the added bonus is …

My daughter has just started reception and her Christmas play is coming up. I asked my head for time out that afternoon to go and see the play and she wasn't sure - she's thinking about it. I'm the only parent of a school-age child working full time at the school, but there are a couple of others with babies and she's anxious about setting a precedent for all teachers to go to their child's christmas play. I don't want her to make an exception for me, obviously, but at the moment it is only me. It's in an afternoon when I have 12 children with me and my TA and when I've had courses, my head has been happy to leave just my TA with the class (as has my TA). Other people in …

I have been pondering Christmas presents and wondering yet again what to get my husband. I wonder if anyone has experience of www.blurb.com? It looks really good to me, and as my OH is a keen photographer it might be just the thing.

Maybe it's just my weird sense of humour but this really made me laugh It came in an email and the instructions were to sing it instead of read it! To commemorate her birthday , actress/vocalist, Julie Andrews made a special appearance at Manhattan 's Radio City Music Hall for the benefit of the AARP. One of the musical numbers she performed was 'My Favorite Things' from the legendary movie 'Sound Of Music'. Here are the lyrics she used: (Sing It!) - If you sing it, its especially hysterical!!! Botox and nose drops and needles for knitting, Walkers and handrails and new dental fittings, Bundles of magazines tied up in string, These are a few of my…
