Hi all Im sure this is a topic that people are getting tired of discussing but i need some advice and support if possible and i thought what better place to come then here!!! Has anyone every heard of PLOD's (possible lines of direction)? I was introduced to these last year by one of the Early Years Mentor…

During my stint on the ward yesterday, I got chatting to a lovely lady, 86 years old with loads of stories about her war years and life. All about being a land girl and showing the Americans round. While chatting she suddenly said 'oh I need the toilet'. I called the ward manager who was just passing and told her. 'Oh M, you have a pad on, do you remember? you dont go to the toilet' she said and then smiled and left. M shook her head 'I forget about that, I pi** here dont I?' I suggested she might want me to leave her for a while to which she replied with a wicked little smile 'Oh no dear, you stay, we can sing a duet'. I really have the best job (?) in t…

Evening all!! Just popped out to collect hubby and it is like Winter outside!!!! Very cold, windy, rainy and got dark very quickly. I actually passed a woman wearing a scarf!! Whats the problem I hear you all say .. . . . . . . . . . . ITS AUGUST!!!! Just wondered if anybody else was enjoying the same kind of weather or is it just Northern Ireland that has been blessed, as usual!! I am starting to take bets that the good weather will return as soon as James goes back to school on Thursday!

Can any one help please? My eldest daughter has just finished year 9 and she has taken two parts of a science GCSE early. We have logged onto the EDEXCEL site and have got her scores but we don't really know what they mean. She is back at school on Wednesday and we will find out then I'm sure but do you think these scores mean that she has passed? UMS / Max Score 26 / 40 Science B1B M/C TEST 32 / 40 Science B1B M/C TEST To me it looks like she has passed these papers, but I don't want to say the wrong thing to her! Thank you, Cath

I dont know if any of you are fans or know the name Jack Bauer, but I am addicted!! This happens to me every time I buy the box set of the next season! I cannot leave it alone until I have watched it all! I was thinking this morning (it hurt quite a bit!)............ No seriously I was thinking about how we now have to 'record' everything that we do e.g. we have always had 'staff meetings' but now I feel the need to 'plan' these meetings - type up an agenda, minute, type up minutes, get staff to read and sign the minutes and file.......... That of course is just one example........could think of many, many more........and of course - who are we doing all this for? Well in my case....Ofsted! So - I will get to the point now - I got to thinking - what song relates to this - I decided on 'Every Breath you Take' (Police) Can you think of anymore? Sunnyda…
