I'm very excited (more than the children ) because we're going on our first ever family camping trip today! We're taking our 2 year old and 4 year old, so wondered if anyone had any top tips for making it extra fun / less stressful? We're taking marshmallows to toast - what else can we do with our campfire?

Missing First Week Back :(

Going to miss the first week or two back to nursery Im booked in on Saturday 29th August to have my gallbladder removed and not allowed to return to work for at least 2 weeks! I look forward to starting a new year and meeting all our new children and parents and feel disappointed that Im not going to. I wasnt expecting the date to come through until at least end of October. Now got just over a week to get as much paperwork done for my deputies, because as usual I have left everything to the last minute :rolleyes:oooppss.....that will teach me. My dear old Nan always used to say to me 'never put off til tomorrow what you can do today'!

Hello there. My plum trees are loaded and I want to make some jam in my breadmaker. However I cant find the recipe anywhere. Can anyone give me an idea please, if you have a breadmaker can you have a look in your recipe book and see if there's one for plum jam. Many many thanks

Nothing to do with Founation stage but that's what the lounge is for. Well done all those who have just had their A level results. As some of you know, I'm one of those busy people with fingers in lots of pies - so if you know anyone about to come to Bristol or UWE who would like to help in Guiding or Scouting units I can find places in either, very close to Bristol's halls of residence. We've had some brilliant student helpers in previous years but they finish their degrees and move on. PM me if you know of anyone. The more the merrier. Al

Just thinking about my 'oooh excited' thread and suddenly wondered if you had one wish (and only one) that could be granted and would result in making you happy what would it be? I have been thinking about it and got down to a short list of three but have decided to go for a guarantee that my sons will have good health and outlive me!

can someone please tell me how to change my log in name? when i joined i remember i kept putting in names and i couldnt use them as they were obviously being used by others. was getting a bit frustrated so put in 'none' and it worked! but now i dont like it ....seems unfriendly! probably cant change but if i can, can someone tell me how? x
