Sorry it's late in the day! Been tied up in lots of other conversations and didn't get back to the main board! How dreadful However, I do hope you are all having a lovely birthday and the sun is shining on you, and you have something lovely planned for this evening. Have a lovely 'rest of the day'

Not one to often boast but I am quite pleased about this! Just got the email to say that I am now a fully registered QCA moderator for eyfsp!! It was a rather grueling 2 day process where you work in groups and an assessor does narrative observations of the individuals in the group whilst you tackle the tasks, so they are looking for leadership, empathy etc etc etc. If anyone ever tells me they haven't got the time for narratives I'll just laugh after watching the assessors who were doing at least 4 simultaneously!!!! I do now understand why the people on the apprentice act like complete burks - your mind is full of: am I listening actively enough, am I being…

I am sitting here after taking my boys out today, cold, wet and feeling fed up with the miserable weather. Local roads are flooding and driving conditions are awful. Hard to believe it's the end of July! It's so much more expensive when the children are on holiday and the weather is bad. Making pizzas for tea this afternoon - not reliant on good weather just yummy toppings!

HI all Now I'm on holiday, I can make appointments at weird times of the day, rather than rushing about after school...you know how it is? This time last year I had a slippd disc, returned to work part time in Sept, full time in Dec and then no looking back. I am Sooooo much better, but have heard that Alexander technique is good and very helpful. Trouble is it costss...alot. So, before I take the punge, thought I'd se if any of yuo have tried it and what you think of it. Thanks xx

I called the Swine Flu hotline - all I got was crackling I heard that the first symptom is that you come out in rashers. Another is that you get the trotts. I woke up with pig tails this morning ... Should I be worried? The doctor asked me how long I'd had the symptoms of Swine Flu. I said it must have been about a Weeeeeeeeeeeeeek! Apparently my mate's got Swine Flu - I think he's just telling porkies! The only known cure for Swine Flu in humans has been found to be the liberal application of oinkment. IF YOU GET AN EMAIL ABOUT SWINE FLU DELETE IT AS ITS ONLY SPAM. This little piggy went to market, This little piggy stayed at home, This…

i have a 14 yr old 11 yr old and 5 yr old. The two older children are treating this house as a hotel. Little one gets up, I get up then 11yr old then 14 yr old about 10.00 by this time breakfast has been ate and cleared away. house tided up. so it then starts all over again when 14 yr old gets up. if i ask her to put away her stuff I just get 'i was going to do it' when dressed they are then in and out for food or the toilet which then upsets little one because she wants to go with them. My son has the same routine out the front playing ball 10 mins then trampoline 10 mins then playstation until i turf him off and it starts all over again. They both want pocket mo…
