Today me and Samantha took part in a fundfaiser at my nursery for a local boy who sadly lost his limbs through meningitis B. We held a fancy dress walk to help raise money towards the cost of his artificial limbs. Samantha and me were pink ladies from grease, just thought id share my picture with you.

Hi there, as part of my uniform for the hospital volunteer service I have to have clothes that can be washed at 60 degrees. All the ones I have and have seen are wash at 40 and I think these might fall apart or shrink. Take a look at your labels and please let me know if yours have 60 on the label and where I can get some. Thanks folks

It's time to vote for your favourite limerick in this months competition. Some people posted more than 1 limerick but I have just taken the first one from each of these people. If you are one of these people and would like me to change your entry to one of your other limericks then just let me know. Because we had so many entries, and it was going to be so difficult to choose a winner, I have split the entries into three 'rounds'. These have been chosen entirely at random. Vote for your favourite in each round and after 4 days I'll take the top 2 from each round for a final vote off. So get voting everyone. Meant to say, if you click on the names in the poll …

Hi everyone, I don't mean to sound like 'a sponge of society' (as my brother says!) But, I have left university now after doing PGCE which i didnt work during bc needed to focus (i worked through the whole of my degree), but now i have no £, theres nowhere near me to do temp work (the place i normally go to for some extra cash has shut) and I have a job lined up to start teaching in september. Does anyone know if i can claim any sort of help, ive obviously got no money coming in now but still need to live, and won't get paid for work til end of sep (i think) so was thinking if i could claim something i could save some and spread it out so that i would be able to get to…

Hi - as some of you already know - my grandson will sit his 11+ in September - the following question comes from a practice paper! In the sentence below, five consecutive letters spell the name of part of a poem or hymn. Write this word inside the brackets. Judith and Michael hardly ever see each other now. (...................) No prize I'm afraid - just a bit of fun!

hi everybody Another question that has been on my mind for a while now and thoiught I would ask you rather knowledgeable people. I'm running the foundation unit next term. I will be the only teacher (still an NQT) along with two nursery nurses. The children in F2 will be on the final two aspects of letters and sounds phase 1. My question is....Do I plan separately for CLL everyday alongside daily phonics to cover LCT, R & W. It just seems alot to fit in aswell as numeracy everyday. Finally when will I do shared writing, reading, guided reading and writing. I presume that wont be untill Phase 2, when they are learning letter sounds etc. If any of you …

My only wish is that it had that effect on me!
