Everyone else was meant to be collecting their own props but being a teacher I took lots of material, drapes and various resources that were used in several photos. The actual photo shoot was ok, we definitely all relaxed as the time went on and we drank more wine but overall it has been a fa…

My mum is 87 and lives in 'sheltered accommodation'.....she is very happy there and has a far better social life than me! She has just been telling me about tonights planned event - a 'quiz night' - I said "oh thats good mum you enjoy those", Yes says mum but they haven't let us choose our own teams and now me and Vera have got to put up with Queenie and Daisy. Oh, I say -what's the problem with that then? Well says mum........Queenie is deaf and Daisy is thick!!! MUM I said you shouldn't call people thick! Lovely day here, just took my camera up the garden for a walk and thought you might like to see the view from the top of the garden, looking over the Solway to Scotland

Reading Books

Hi Just wanted to know how you organise your storytime. We spilt story into two groups. We find this better for the children as of course age appropriate. Do you put down on the planning the books you are going to read for the week or do you just pick random books. Do you allocate certain members of staff to read every day. Also do you leave storytime at the end of the session. We read a story before we go outside to play. Also do any of you do show and tell anymore. We still have children bringing things from home, but we never show them. Dorinda
