with the Olympics! OH had it on constantly over the weekend and I've had enough! I like to know when we have won a medal and might watch some of the more high profile short races, but I am dreading it being on non-stop over the next few weeks. Might have to invest in some boxed sets to relieve the tedium.....

Good morning! I am looking for some advice on what is expected fro am first registration visit from Ofsted. I have filled in all forms on Ofsted website but can not submit it until my DBS comes back. I applied over 2 months ago and after speaking to the company they say there is a large backlog at moment! (i really didn't expect it to take this long) Anyway I have found a hall to lease that i would like to run a day nursery from.(Scout Hut) It needs some work done to it that i am doing at the moment. Hi All As many of you may/may not know I haven't been well recently and as a consequence lost my job, so I am now unemployed for the first time ever and not by choice! I have, however, found out what is wrong and hopefully an explanation of the chronic fatigue I have felt for nearly two years now. I was told last week that I have a rare form of Cancer of the blood and rare in people my age, usually older. I am low risk, but it will never go and I stand a 10% chance of getting Leukaemia. There are no drugs to take which should be a plus, but actually makes it less real somehow. Love to all who remember me xxxx

ok.............I confess I have reached the age where I can claim my state pension. I thought this would be easy, BUT hubby seems to think I won't get a pension in my own right, rather it will be a married couples one..............basically, topping up the one he gets! Is that correct..............

I know this may seem really pathetic and self pitying but I need to say it someone and this is the safest place I really struggle at the end of each year because there is never any sort of thank to me by the staff or committee. I work myself into the ground 24/7 for the preschool, dealing with every issue, helping everyone, doing everything (or it feels that way!) and they do know that. Not that I really want some huge fuss or money spent (I buy all of them a gift every year though) I just wish someone would say something about how much I do. All the rest of the year I just get on with things really. I do get thank yous from some of the parents and they mean a great dea…
