sorry all but I just have to have a giant rant. There have been many issues at my current school, so much so I have had to leave as I just can't stand it any more. t seems to me that these last few weeks re being made particularly difficult for me. This morning after being off sick, I walked in to find the majority of the construction equipment have been taken by the FSL to sort and audit for September. When I queried this I was told that the children would manage and that I wasn't getting it back again! Just tell me how I am supposed to have self initiated learning in all areas if there's NO CONSTRUCTION!!!!! Arrrrrrrh. Everyday I think how can it get worse? And then yet…

Ah...... my "baby" is 17 today! He was born by booked C section at 38 weeks. He was very poorly when born and those first days after his birth were a blur of tears and anguish. However he grew up to be a great child and now a lovely young man. I feel lucky every day that he survived. But I remember that this weekend coming I missed Agassi win Wimbledon!!! Something he never repeated. Just wondering what you were up to 17 years ago!!!!!!!!!!

Is It A Panic Attack?
by Guest- 17 replies

I'm hyperventilating and just took my heart beat = 100 beats per minute. Been like this most of the day, and last night. Guess it's panic attack? Don't want to bother a doctor about it, anyone know any techniques to slow heart beat down? It's work stress that's caused it. My situation hasn't got any better and I've got a meeting about it on 14th July - such a long wait if I'm like this! ppp

Hi folks, My sister called me today asking for my opinion on the following ... ... My nephews (aged 5 and 8) both attend the same primary school. The head teacher (who is due to be leaving soon) has announced plans that due to low numbers they are rearranging their classes. Foundation will be with the younger year 1's and then the older year 1's will be in with year 2 and also the year 3 children - to make up the class to around 30 pupils! My sister isn't happy with this arrangement as it means my younger nephew will be in a class with 7-8 years olds, Has anyone heard of arrangements like this before? My sister has a meeting Friday as she has complaine…

Hi there, My class share teacher and I have been thinking what to get the class we have taught this term and I came up with a fab idea of getting the children books. Saw a fab offer on book people and by the time I had shown her, agreed and then got home to order them - they had gone!! Now I am completely stumped as to what to get! I want the get them something worthwhile up to a pound per child rather than buy sweets, pencil etc as I have done before. Has anyone any ideas or sources? Many thanks Lxx

Okay, so the story starts a year ago. I finally convinced my dear mother that I should get a contract phone. So whilst taking out the contract the man tells us that if we take out the phone insurance I can cancel my contract at any time. Even telling my mum that if she bought her phone in she could cancel her contract and get a new one etc. So a few months later I decided what I was paying for, and what I was actually using wasn't worth it. So we went in tothe shop and the man who sold me the contract got very nervous and asked us to come back later because he was busy. So off we went and when we came back... suprise suprise he'd gone! So anyway we were told that he …
