Thank you As some of you know I am in a senior position. My committee aren't listening to me. As a result of this my long term aims for my setting will be erased and I will carry on until I can't take anymore. I have made my setting incredibly sucessful in the time I have been there and was so proud of what I've achieved. I've never been that successful at anthing before and I really believed that I could be this time. I have woked my ar** off for 8 years, completed 2 NVQ's a foundation degree and a specialised B-tec (the last two I did at the same time and was working full time too.) I'm in second year of foundation degree which means assignments are getting longer and longer so am spending more time at my laptop researching and then typing and have started getting headaches after being on laptop- I am fortunate enough to never normally have headaches (unless alcohol is involved of course lol) ... I also work in a pharmacy part-time so had informal chat with pharmacist about glasses and have decided to book an eye test to check if need glasses (fingers crossed I don't though as lovely as they can look!) Anyway just wanted to see if anyone else has had to start wearing glasses from similar situation?? Or from any other type of situation? I love glass…

Hello everyone! I have an interview for a Nursery teacher's job TOMORROW, and my brain has broken. I have to teach a 10 minute literacy or numeracy lesson to a group of 6-8 Nursery children... and I cannot think of a single idea. I am a Nursery teacher now, so I do these things everyday! Why can't I think of an idea!? I think because the topic is SO broad I'm a bit lost! Does anyone have any truly amazing literacy or numeracy ideas I could use? I'd be so grateful! My EYAT visited today......she asked about my SEF I said "oh well you know ...just note form at the moment really".....this is not a complete fib (if you allow 'memtal' note form ) Anyway......she told me that it is estimated that 80% of providers have not completed their SEF.....woohoo Sunnyday

Hi, I was so annoyed yesterday a friend of mine picked my little sister up from school (my sister is six) as we had a sleepover and fun night planned. Emily (my sister) was sat at her table, her eyes sunken with terrible black circles under them, she was flushed and bright red ears. the teacher eventually released Emily to my friend. Emily told her the she had a headache, The teacher then said yes she has had a headache all day. my friend Felt Emily's head and she was red hot.
