Today was 'Bring your Dad to playgroup' day. All the staff were apprehensive as this was completely new ground for us, but we needn't have worried. Eight dads came this morning including one who used to attend the group. They made muffin pizzas, there was some very competitive junk modelling and lots of active outdoor play. Three dads stayed for lunch and one really didn't want to go to work. 'Could we write a note for his boss?' One dad stayed for the whole day and is considering coming in as a volunteer even when his son has gone to school. After lunch three more arrived, another one who used to attend the group. more pizzas, junk modelling, painting and dressing up. …

WE HAVE AN LA PERSON COMING INTO SCHOOL AT THE MOMENT TO SUPPRT NUMERACY. IT IS MY TURN TO BE SEEN ON WEDNESDAY. JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS ANY NEW AND INSPIRING PSRN ACTVITIES FOR AN INTRODUCTION, FOCUSED TASKS, INDEPENDENT ACTIVITIES AND OUTDOORS!!!
