So, how was everyone's first day back? - for those of us who do terms anyway. My day seemed to go really quickly, I started by mowing the grass so we could get out - that took almost the same length of time as it did for the children to get their shoes on and get well slathered with sun cream - it's amazing how many had no sun hats! Oh quick reminder to self to look on ebay Children took everything out of the shed after that they wanted whilst my group and I checked the peas, potatoes, carrots, apple trees, strawberries and blueberries and gave them all a right old drenching! A nice piece of cake - preferably with cream in it or a big jam doughnut. Shame there isn't a cake van (like and ice-cream van) that tours housing estates or a cake shop that delivers. I could bake one of course but it won't be anything like a bought one. Mmmmmmmmm cake.

Was in Boots today and a sales assistant was walking through the shop with a potty at arms length behind her was a dad with a little girl in his arms of about 18 mos - 2 years old, I can only imagine she is being potty trained at the moment and saw a potty on the shelf, took it down and peed in it! Dad look highly embarrassed, but I had to chuckle.

Hi, well i have just got home from doing the 5K part of race for life, and guess what.... it rained and rained and rained, but what a brill atmosphere, and such a worthy cause. This is the first time that i have ever done race for life, and despite the rain, i would definatly do it again. I love my little medal ... am just about to start warming up, sat here in dressing gown under the duvet :-) Dawn
