Most Annoying Advertisement!

Is it just me or is the advertisement for a certain dog food with a west highland terrier the most annoying ever!!! It makes me cringe every time it comes on!! Its really starting to bug me now, it seems to be on all the time!!! Sorry if I complain, its just really bugging me. Was stupid enough to mention it to hubby and he now turns the TV up everytime it is on, or hides the remote!! Best of it is, he thinks he's funny!!!

This year, to be part of Red Nose Day 2009, you just need to Do Something Funny for Money! So to support this fine cause our March competition has the theme of Do Something Funny for Money as well. It is very simple! All we want you to do is upload a photograph that you have taken into our shiny new gallery area. The photo can be of a fundraising event for Comic Relief you or someone you know doing something funny a funny image that you have taken (rude vegetables accepted providing they are not too explicit! ) any photo with a funny caption We haven't worked out the finer details of how exactly we're going to judge the competition, a lot will depend upon how…

Hello,I am just interested in how you are able to be organisedin your settings and any helpful hints you can possibly pass onto me especially those of you in Daycare settings ie Private!!! For instance we have 2 bigpre-school rooms and only 2 memebrs of staff and it felt like most of the day I was tidying ie putting paints upstairs, sorting toys out, clearing the floor, doing the register, clearing paint up,drying clothes, tidying outside up.I feel awful because it takes me away from the childen which i don't like. alsoi am not the best at remembering to do things so feel I will not be taken seriously till I do ie because we have no space for our registers and letters, recent…

Hello all! I know that a fair few of you are based up in Cumbria, so I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction. I am looking for a primary teaching post (pref. FS/KS1) for September '09, as my partner has had to relocate up to Cumbria for his new job and I'd ideally like to join him. I've currently being looking for posts on the Cumbria County Council website, TES and eteach; are there any other websites or places that I could look? I don't want to miss any opportunity just because I was looking in the wrong place! Thanking you all in advance! Rosey x

I know this is more a Foundation Degree issue but I feel that has this area is more for members only it is more approipated. So in terms of work I have been empolyed, unemployed, employed (but treated awful) now I need a placement to complete my studies but working on supply at the same time. I feel that this acdeimic year has gone pear shaped, apart from going back into guiding again after 18 years. Spoke to my old placement teacher today who said I could have a placement if I needed one but now shes leaving I can't go there. I cant seem to get hold of the placement officer for my early years to arrange a placement (which could take weeks). Now I don't kno…

Hells Kitchen

Is anybody watching hells kitchen at the moment?? Is it me or I am the only one pleased to see Jody get sacked this evening?? Hubby thinks he should have stayed on! I think he was too much of an attention seeker who played up to the cameras. I'm sure his mother raised him well and taught him manners, but for the sake of looking "cool" he decided to live life in the kitchen without them. Have to say I love Ade Edmunson on it though!! Just wondering if others agree with me or do they feel someone else should have been sacked and if so, why!
