Ok had a terrible few days - got an awful stubborn virus on my laptop through msn (sorry Maz) taken hubby 3 days and very late nights to sort..... Also handed in my notice today (felt very sick!!!).................. :wacko: BUT.... also got an email reply from a month ago about about possible free premises i could rent.... - going to see it tomorrow owww scary time - dont know what to do ........

I feel like everything has gone pearshaped just now so knowing there'll be someone here who'll understand excuse me if I scream a bit. We had two letters of complaint from parents yesterday (having never had any previous complaints to my knowledge) One was not entirely unexpected as the parent concerned had already had her say verbally over an un noticed dirty nappy at home time. However the second was an allegation against a member of staff concerning an alleged incident over a month ago which was not mentioned at the time, involving not the complainants son but his friend. Hi all I rejoined weightwatchers tonight! I hadn't been for over years, but in the past year I have managed to put a stone and half on again and cannot afford to buy a whole new wardrobe, so weightwatchers was the only option as I cant afford plastic surgery or liposuction!! Just wondering if anyone else joined any slimming groups or if anybody is trying to go it alone?? Was thinking maybe we could support and help one another when the munchies set in, seeing as everyone on the forum supports and helps each other at other at every other time!

Hi all - This is placed here consciously, as it's for the more regular posters and chatterers amongst us (and I include myself in all of this!). As the forum is getting busier, and more people are joining (at the rate of around 200 per month, which is slightly scary...) it's becoming apparent that some serious conversations are fighting to stay visible amongst the noise of people (quite rightly) enjoying themselves. Hi I was wondering if I could get your thoughts about this. I am presently in the middle of my NQT year, which I am loving! I really like the school and feel very settled there. Before I started teaching I worked at a private Nursery for three years and did an Early Childhood Studies degree. So have experience of working in the early years. This morning I have attended a EYFS support meeting. Why are some people so rude. Throughout the whole 2 hour meeting, two woman have sat at the back of the room and just about whispered their way through the whole meeting!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and from what I can gather, not about the meeting issues but other things!! It is so distracting, because all you focus on is the noise coming from behind you. If these people don't want to listen to whats going on, then why attend in the first place.
