Facing My Fears

Hi everyone - need some help - as usual I really have got to face my fear of spiders - especially as we are in the process of emigrating to a very, very hot place with an enormous array of crawlies. The thought of hypnotherapy leaves me petrified I am going to do something silly like act like a chicken everytime I hear a certain noise. (watched too many hypnotist shows in years gone by!!!!) Can anyone recommend a book or another technique I can use? Has anyone out there found something that's helped them? Unfortunately my dad thought it was hilarious to chase me with with spiders when I was little - definitely wouldn't be allowed these days, I'm sure!

My 18 year old son needs a new passport. We get the forms from the PO, get the photos taken, fill in all the relevant bits on the form, get the counter signatory to do his bit, take it all back to the PO for their check and send service; needs to be done again as counter signatory has missed son's middle name out when signing the back of the photo. So back to see countersignatory, get him to sign the back of another photo of son remembering to put his middle name in. Back to PO see somebody different, tells me she cant accept it as some of the characters are outside of the boxes, tell her this is the 2nd time that form has been checked and it wasn't mentioned before;…

I recieved this in an email today 5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE 4 tablespoons flour 4 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons cocoa 1 egg 3 tablespoons milk 3 tablespoons oil 3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional) a small splash of vanilla extract 1 large coffee mug Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again. I was wondering how those of us that have been with our partners for a long time manage to express how much they mean to us? When we were young 'I love you' seemed so strong and potent but after 20 years it seems to be as everyday as 'Cup of tea?' I know its meant but its lost its twinkle... I'd just like to say that in the 5 days since I joined you wonderful people I don't think I've every felt so supported and not alone. Everything I've felt since working in this sector has been experienced by one of you at some time and it's great to know that you're all there if I need you. At the moment things aren't too bad and we seem to be ticking along nicely but as soon as a dilema arises, I'll surely be calling on your help.
