Well, been messing about on the forum poking my nose in and having my two p's worth here and there. Noticed that at one point I was the last contributor on the top 3 threads. I wondered ... who can get themselves as the last contributer for the most threads simultaneously ... Is it possible to be the last contributor on all live threads??!! Now, deliberately trying to be the last one in as many threads as possible would probably saboutage(?) the whole system as people might just open a thread and put a silly remark in and that wouldn't be very helpful to our colleagues who need help or who want to share stories. Thought it might be fun to notice ... my money's o…

Inspired by Biccy's introductory post I thought I would ask you all what is your claim to fame? or maybe infamous fame My claim to fame is that I 'jammed' with Dylan Burns, lead singer of Body Rockers. He is the brother of my sons best mates, ( twins who have known my son Ellis for 21 yrs, since he was 3 yrs, they became friends at preschool) Dylan was at our local pub ( his dad being the landlord) and we 'jammed' away on our guitars into the early hours of the morning. This was about a year before he became famous with Body Rockers, although he had previously had a No 1 hit in France. And yes, he is hunky in real life too. His hit, "I like the way you m…

Hoorah!!! Ive made it to half term, can now have a lovely rest , after Ive caught up with the washing, ironing, cleaning, shopping, cooking, helped with the chidrens homework, delivered / collected them from all their engagements and read the latest pile of government documents that have been quietly gathering dust since Christmas! Feel a bit depressed now, time to open the wine! Any one doing anything nice?

Last night I had a dream that us forum addicts lived on a boat together in the middle of the ocean. And Peggy was putting up banners for someone's birthday, and I shouted at her because I didn't get any banners for my birthday.. And then Cirhossa1 was there, and she was talking to me about something or other, and then she told me she didn't really work with children she was a hairdresser in a mourge? But she really liked it on the forum so she said I couldn't tell anybody! And then one of the little boys from our setting was there with his 2 rabbits, and then jumped over the side of the boat, well it wasn't actually a boat, it was more like a platform on the sea!…

Following on from Sue R's blog about going down memory lane , does any music suddenly have you back at a certain age or place? My music memories are : Earth, Wind and Fire - Boogie Wonderland. I can almost feel the cold as it takes me back to the ice rink where it seems it was played more than anything else. Rainbow Rising album and Black Sabbath, Fluff - he was a lovely lad! Songs in the Key of life, Stevie Wonder - that lad was a horror! Bryan Ferry, The midnight hour - I married that one. Bibboty bobbity boo (from the cinderella film) - and I'm sitting in my bedroom with my little red record player. Lips Inc - holiday in Paighton with my friend. Elt…

We've trawled through the depths of time to come up with songs that mean something to us, now have you got a song you hate? Not just a genre but a specific song. The one you make a made grab for the off button or channel changer. Mine are... ABC - by the Jackson 5. Silver machine - Hawkwind Hate it, hate it, hate it.
