Hi all anyone bought a set recently? We have had a set for about 8 years and recently bought a new set. However, we have had lots of trouble with them and despite lots of support from Story Phones themselves the issues we had had do not seem to be resolving. (we even had the set swapped) but still same problems. Our old set are fine??? Just wondered if anyone else had experienced difficulties with a new set.

HI Some of you may know that I have been ill for a while, well I am still ill, still un diagnosed and about to be dismissed from my job as I cannot fulfil my role. A bit of a bolt out of the blue, but all above board no matter how unjust I think it is in many ways although I can see their point of view. So now I have to think what to do next! A part time post doing intervention work would be ideal topped up with personal tutoring. Does anyone know/could clarify... I have 3 separate DBS checks for 3 different schools. Do I need another one for personal tutoring? x

I've had no Vodafone signal for nearly 48 hours. We normally have a good service and I've checked on the Vodafone website which says there are no issues in our area. Other staff at work have the same trouble and apparently people are posting on Facebook that they have no signal. Any suggestions? Anyone else having trouble?

Free Coaching Session

Hi Everyone, I have started my own business as a coach alongside my job. I have indirectly been doing this for a while but decided it was the time to take it to the next level. I am launching a new shorter coaching package and I am looking for probably around 15 volunteers to help me develop the package. It’s free, all I would need is your time, commitment and some feedback. So, you are the right person if you are a nursery owner/manager/childminder and you have something that you would like to work towards achieving. This could be anything from making some changes in your setting, overcoming issues with staff or even making some changes in your home life such as fi…

Is it only at our setting this happens- I can spent hours looking on pinterest or similar, and I find all these beautiful and fantastic ideas - How to set up your tuffspot etc. I feel so inspired when I look..... so I set ours up .... and within minutes it's trashed (in a nice way) and looks nothing like it did, with no hope of it looking like it again for the rest of the session. Example - The three pigs, within minutes the whole selection of building materials are mixed together in a bowl and the pigs have gone for a walk the library area in a bag - never to be seen again!

So I decided our notice board needing revamping last night , finally got photos of staff together and whilst a colleague was helping we decided to start pimping our photos - so we have now added moustaches, extra eyes, beards, blacked out teeth . It was so funny and we are wondering how many parents will notice on Monday ??

Well after doing one degree, then deciding teaching is not for me and getting no jobs in education. I decided it was time to make changes. Last week I started an access diploma to HE in health course. I am hopefully planning to become a speech and language therapist with child nursing as a back up. I still have a few open days to attend before I decide what to do. I have also change sites at work and no longer doing a lot of speech language phonic type interventions that I've done for the past 2 years. I'm doing less intervention, little bit of small groups but mainly sitting and sorting resources out. It's a tad boring and now relates more to nursing than the t…
