My son has asked me to highlight the problem of Testicular cancer to as many as possible, he just wants to spread the word now he feels able to. He was diagnosed April last year and we have been through lots in the last year, but come through it together, we cannot emphasise too much the need to teach all your sons and young men/husbands how to self check just as I am sure you all do. i taught him to check and if not it could have been much worse. Testicular Cancer is one that is not highlighted enough or discussed, but it is possible to get it any time from the beginning of puberty onwards..and is more common in the 18 to 23 yr age group than many realise. I don't normally do this kind of thing, and i hope it's ok with the mods.Right now, this is a cause very close to my heart, as I have recently found a lump and am about to undedergo investigations for it.Hopefully, its a simple cyst, but a mammogram is one of the weapons the docs will be using to help diagnose this thing!! i just wanted to share my excitment with you all and encourage any of you to put in for any funding that may come your way. i was sent a letter from the early years development area parnership in essex that said i could apply for up to £200 for a project or equipment of my choice, on my wish list was a trolley for choosing (we have to put out and away each day) so i filled out this form (after nearly not bothering!) and to my amazment i got the money we are now the proud owners of a new 3 sectioned trolley complete with 9 new boxes! moral of story is.. if they are willing to give it take it with both hands!!!

Hi guys, I've been sorting through my cupboards today and I found one of the fabric, hanging calenders. As there is a couple of pieces missing I was going to throw it out, but then I thought if any of you has one of these, then I could send you all the removable pieces as spares.
