so i may finally be starting my new position as pre school teacher. they think they have found a suitable replacement for me at my current centre. i duno whether to get excited or not as they have let me down before but also ive got back into my current role now and have everything running quite smoothly seems a shame to leave it now! ahwell!!!

Hi. I've got a situation and don't know if im over reacting to something which can't be helped. But I'm getting stressed so thought I would post on here!! We were given some funding this year which needs using up. I want to buy some resources but need cash to be able to do so. I asked treasurer for a withdrawel slip for a specific amount and was told I could not have it. I have been asked to go and find out exactly how much each item is, tell her, then she will write me a cheque. So thats two trips to town, with a cheque that i can't sign in a shop and which probably won't be accepted as im thinking that most places won't accept a cheque now??? I don't kno…

Hi Woke up this morning to about 3 inches of snow. My children are already outside playing in it at 7.30am and our dogs, two of whom have never seen snow before are having great fun with them. Hope it's all gone by tomorrow or getting to work will be a nightmare. But for today it looks really pretty. What's it like elsewhere? Sally

just wanted a moan coz ive had a bad day. i usually open the nursery for 7.30 and am on reception until the receptionist comes in at 8, nursery opnes for early drop off at 7.30 and fully at 8 so pretty much should be in my unit (2 rooms 10 staff) by 8 o clock in order to deploy staff and get room sorted for day. it gets to 8.15 and im still on reception, i ring to deputy to ask if receptionist had contacted her personnaly to say she would be late or off ( which receptionist had done in the past) as i do this the receptionist strolls in (doesnt even say sorry for being late or acknowlegde the fact) asks why i was just on phone to deputy, i say well just needed to know …

I would firstly like to say a really big thank you to Inge for a link she gave me earlier for Open Office!! I can now access all the resources and downloads on the forum which I haven't been able to do before. I would then like to thank everyone for sharing such superb resources/downloads etc especially as I can now see how great they all are as I can read them!!
