Walnut Drops

Hi every one have just had a catch up and saw that some of you wanted to know where to get Walnut drops. They come in a little bottle like the Bach Rescue Remedy and you can get them in health food shops. They are an essence made by Ainsworth to the original formularmade by Dr Bach. My staff think its the 40% alcohol but as the bottle is only a 10ml bottle and you use 4 drops to a bottle of water. It doesn't taste but certainly works. If not I must have a very good mind over matter brain. I use mostly homeopathy and find it helps, especially when you really don't want to have another day of listening to peoples problems but know that you can't get away from it. When…

Slap Cheek

My Nephew has slap cheek, i told Samantha's day care providers she had been in contact with it but she shows no signs of coming down with it herself at all. They will not now accept her into day care until Monday and thats after i have taken her to the doctors and he has issued me with a note certifying her fit to return. I have not come across this before with slap cheek and infact my nephew was not excluded from school with it. I feel they are taking very drastic an action, can they do this are they justified?. good job i'd already booked Thursday and Friday off work as holidays (were going to be a few days for me to recharge my batteries!!!). Go on, if you are one of those peeps having trouble sleeping (like me at the moment), look out of your window around 2-3am ish and if its clear enough, you will see the only lunar eclipse this year.. they are pretty spectacular when its a clear night.

Oooo I have had it up to here with this other job. Well I ended up calmly telling them I am level 3 qualified, so please don't contanstly tell me what to do, oh and when do I get paid and what rate please. I didn't get a very good response back so I really really don't want to go back there tommorow or at anytime in the future. It is now making me want to leave childcare for good, unless I do Childminding at my parents house or find another job quick I hope to have 3 interviews lined up within the next couple of weeks. Rant over. Beth

I can't believe how icy it has been today. I put Ryan in the car went round the front to de-ice the windscreen and whump, down I went. Not a brilliant thing to do when you are 30 weeks pregnant. Fortunately I fell on my knees and hands and stopped myself from landing on my bump, but I was rather shaken. I hurried back inside where my husband was as he's on holiday and had a good cry. A lady I knew must have seen me fall as she drove past and she hurried round to see if I was ok which was so kind. So now I'm being super careful. I'm having an early night and hope I don't ache too much in the morning. Laura and a wriggly bump (thank goodness)

I went for an interview today, senior nursery nurse post. Guess how long it took???........................nearly 2 hours long, yes I do mean 2 hours. I went in at the time asked and didn't come out until 2 hours afterwards! Well the process was: I looked around the nursery rooms and outdoor play area which took about 20 minutes. Then I had the interview part which seemed to go on forever, lots of questions and some distractions. I felt that I struggled to answer a couple of questions properly, as all my 8 years experince tended to merge into one and I had trouble working out what was what and where. My poor mother who was nearby at her b…
