Hi I wondered if anyone has any ideas to keep a rowdy bunch of boys busy. we are on half term and have 10 children in our holiday club 2 being girls age range 4-10. I have planned to do a theme of chinese new year making a box dragon masks lanterns etc with a chinese meal mid week. we have a sport trainer booked for thursday morning to do some games/football. My problem is that one or two of the older boys only want to play on the games machine or football and become a bit unruly and bored . We have lots of other things to do but funds are short so no trip this week just a walk to the local park which the boys grumble at because its a fair distance to walk and the pitch…

my purse, where would you have fallen out of my bag?! I had it this morning to pay for my petrol and it definately went in my bag. I went to tescos tonight to pay for the weekly shop and it wasn't there! I felt like such an idiot. Had to drive home and pick up my husband's wallet to pay for it. I had hoped it had just fallen out in the car or at home where I'd left my bag before, but nope, no sign of it. I just hope it's in my cupboard at work, else I'm going to have to cancel all my cards etc. What an arse.

I have had a really lovely sunny day today, got to work at 8.30 am stayed inside til 9.30 am then went outside. We had 12 months old, 18 months old, 2 1/2 years old and 2 holiday club children of 8 years old. Whilst outside we played in the nursery garden including having lunch. At 1.30 pm we went for a walk and boy do my feet feel the 2 mile round circut and got back at around 2.30 pm . Then I sayed inside until I finshed at 4 pm. Tommorow is my last day at the nursery, guess where were going - ten pin bowling with a 18 months old and 2 older children in the holiday club. I won't have to be in til 9.30 am either but working until 6 pm. Beth
