Chickens!
by Guest Wolfie- 14 replies

Has anyone been watching the Hugh Fearnley -Wotsit programmes about chickens this week? I just wondered whether it's promoting as much discussion in other parts of the country as it is in ours? I watched all three programmes and thought that it made very good television and gave a lot of food for thought (sorry, no pun intended)! What does everyone think? Are you all abandoning the "2 for £5" Tesco chickens? It would be interesting to see how the nation buys chicken over the next week or so and whether any new trends appear, wouldn't it?

I dont check my voicemails very often, partly because I never notice when I get one. So imagine my shock, surprise, delight (and annoyance that I hadnt noticed sooner) when I hear a voice saying 'please phone me back, I'd like you to tutor a creativity course'. I had to tell you lot, I knew you'd understand, you just cant imagine how excited I am.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! Ooh sorry but that does feel better. Why is it soo hard being a Mum sometimes? Years ago I thought it got easier as the children got older but now I think how wrong I was! Some of you may remember when my youngest son went off to Australia for 9 months - well now I am off to Heathrow not once but twice On Nov 27th my second son leaves for Australia and will be back in October 2008 and on December 4th my youngest is off to New Zealand until July 2008. I am thrilled they are happy, confident adults and that they are able to have such wonderful opportunities but gosh it just feels tough being Mu…

Who's got some snow? Well I have started at 8 am and has been snowing on and off since. I am tempted to walk to the other side of the village to see the snow over the valley but its a bit tricky to get to as its eaither making my way across a busy main road and back across a bad corner or walk through part way through a housing estate to reach the view the car is not an option. Still need to complete 2nd assgiment this afternoon, spent the morning finding theory realting to children's centres and working with parents. I am having fun geting the policies scaned onto one computer as the other one as a virus in quatinee (sp) and I don't want to pass it onto t…

Hi, I am organising a whole school book week throughout our primary school. Most staff will have their own ideas they would like to do in class but I need to organise some things to tie it all in together. We are looking into having an author visit to work with the different key stages and maybe a theatre company to do a small production, has anyone got any other bright ideas?!
