Oh my I am going to be busy this week, I have 2 interviews so far. One temporary nursery nurse in a primary school and a teaching assistant post in year 1. Fingers crossed I get one of them. On anthoer note, 2 of my college tutors are leaving around christmas time. AND we still haven't full sorted out our timetable for next semsiter (sp), Fridays is confirmed but we need to arrange Thursday evening just great when your trying to find a job. Oh well must complete 3 assignments and be back at college on the 10 jan for presentations. Beth

Up early this morning.....full of cold, lost my voice and feeling generally rough! And now on top of this I ended up going to the 'walk in centre' on Saturday morning....My left hand has been aching for a few days but I just put this down to aches & pains due to a cold....woke up and my hand had completely swollen up, hurt to move and pins & needles. Though I had fractured it it hurt that much. My son drove me to the hospital where I was examined and asked questions...turns out I have 'carpal tunnel syndrome'...or in 'normal' words inflammed tendon caused by ??????????? Anyone else heard of this......it's still swollen and painful and it is affecting my index…

Talk about going out with a BANG. Yesterday my last day at preschool I decided to end our day with a concert in London. Driving home on the M2, I had just passed a coach then the car suddenly pulled to the left, we think it may have been black ice. I reacted by stearing right which put the back of the car into a spin, we smashed straight into the central reservation. I always wondered what peoples last thoughts were, I really didn't think we were going to make it. Got back this afternoon from yet another trip to the trafford centre. Went for some lovey American style dounuts (yummy). Dad decied to get the christmas tree down from the loft, well he did that but suddenly the loft ladders gave way he fell backwards into a wall with the ladders on top of him. Infact part of the ladder went throught the wall, I had to quckly remove the ladders before helping dad.
