about 2 weeks ago, maybe not even that long, I was reading an article about same age? same stage? about Reception having children draw pictures of themselves and how much information could be found out from those drawings - even the fact that if, say, a child had a hearing problem they would leave ears off of their drawing. Now I want to find it - I should have cut it out at the time but didnt (fool that I am) not sure what I was reading - could have been Nursery World, but I have had a look at the most recent ones or could have been in the Daily Mail - possibly. Anyone else read it and recall where? The article also had two children's drawings side by side …

This has been put onto our playgroups facebook page as a 'Great idea for greeting cards if you have a baby or grandchild'. I'm absolutely struggling to understand why anyone connected to our group would think it appropriate so I need some fabulous ideas I can put on to counteract this blatant slide into the 1990s. https://www.facebook.com/Delilah/photos/a.420491190336.193818.276802375336/10152111833040337/?type=3 I'd look for myself but you lot are SO much better than me

I'm on a bit of a journey of discovery at the moment. I've had a 4 year career break and I want to get back in to it now my youngest is older. I applied for a TA job at the children's school, I felt I ticked every box on the person specification and felt I would at least get an interview, the closing date was yesterday and interviews are tomorrow so I guess as it's 6pm now, I haven't been shortlisted as I haven't heard a thing. I feel quite sad about it, but thinking about it maybe I was being too confident about it. The trouble is, it has completely knocked me for six, doing the application and researching has really ignited me and made me realise what I want to do a…

I am currently with talk talk for both internet and telephone supply. I want to change as the 'service' we get is terrible. Who would you recommend...........and cost really matters as we're a very small setting and I don't want to be hog-tied to a big, long contract. Suggestions please?
