As my topic title says it's my very last day tomorrow, it feels quite surreal, like it's just the end of term and not the actual end of my business. Lots to do still but I always do leave everything to the last minute , only just got back from the shops with the staffs Christmas presents, and wrapped them. Now I'm on here as I always am when I'm really busy and should be doing something else. Last night I finished at 1am, and will most probably be later tonight. Got cards to write out, wages to do, 10 Achievement books to tidy up and update. Need to download all the childrens ( and staffs) photo's to disc. It's been a difficult last week, Monday I had to do…

My Head told me today that my Threshold has been accepted which is brilliant news. I just wanted to ask if I was right in thinking that I should receive back pay from September 2006 as I applied in the 2006/2007 round and have been on the highest possible point for a couple of years before I applied. I have a feeling that the money won't be forthcoming unless I push for it. I could really do with the extra money as I'm pregnant and due at the end of April. Maternity pay will be a bit of a shock this time as I'm only working 2 days after I had Ryan. I can't believe I'm nearly 21 weeks. Time has flown. AAAARRRGGGGHHHH!!! Four sets of lights of which only one set works! They all worked last year, were wound up carefully, placed in a box carefully, stored in a little used cupboard carefully and they broke. On a positive note, my living room has had a good clean and the tree smells lovely. Better luck to anyone else who is opening last years dcoration box

Well it seems like forever since I was last here (darn internet and household bills lol) but I'm back and raring to go! I've really missed everyone and am really looking forward to catching up with all of you and your news. Thought I would add some news of my own before I go wandering around trying to catch up on all that I've missed... I am pregnant with my second, due in May so am now 16 weeks today! We are very excited, especially Natalie. We are planning on finding out this time and hoping for a boy, but whatever happens, happens and we'll be pleased with whatever our little bean turns out to be! Has anyone read anything good recently?? I'm off on holiday next week and need some good books to take - nothing too serious but nothing TOO frivolous either! I'm reading The Island by Victoria Hislop at the moment and really enjoying that - I'll try most things except science fiction and horror!!

Hi all, It's hubby's 50th today and I bought tickets from the 'Londonticketshop' for Friday's Wet Wet Wet concert, had an email confirmation ( which showed me they are based in hungary) but no tickets have arrived yet. I googled their name only to find info that people have been scammed by them. On their site is says that I still could get the tickets before friday, just feel a bit worried that I won't. Has anyone else bought and got ( or not) tickets from this company? Peggy
