I have promised both my lads a new duvet. Mine is feather and they complain that its softer, cuddlier, warmer and snugglier than their polyester filled ones. At £30 each they arent cheap, but I love my children and would do anything for them. Wouldnt I??? Well, the thing is, I've just seen the most wonderful little black dress and as I've been looking for just such a dress for ages, the £60 has been spent. There, bad, bad mommy. But I'll look fab at the Christmas do!

Ok so Im a pretty much live and let live person, each to their own and all that, but please do they have to be just so loud? Every year they get louder, and when it's disturbing my sleep at 2 am 3 am 4 am, enough is enough.... and there promises to be of the same tonight...and tomrrow... ad I hate to get up to all that smog in the air, it was a beautiful day yesterday and now it's spoilt I cant even see the bottom of my garden. Feeling Rotten

Hi there, what a week!! Started the week losing a lens out of my glasses when I arrived at school. I had been to the doctors with a swollen tongue and convinced myself I was really ill, then arrived at school and the head teacher looked at me at playtime and said- you have lost a lens. Despite offering endless golden points to the children- it was not found. So I am stuck at school- can't see, can't drive etc etc. I have to spend the week relying on others for lifts. Tuesday- the member of staff giving me a lift didn't leave school until 6pm and I go to fat club at 7pm, so really exhausted. Then Wednesday- stuck at school - full govs meeting at 7pm so took a packed tea…

Just got in from a day at Univeristy.a very heated debate this afternoon left me feeling very demoralised and tearful. We were discussing child protection (Safeguarding children!) and the issue of physical restraint came up well I have had to do this with a child - obviously it is a last resort but to protect other children it has been the only way to safeguard them and himself. Well this debate got really personal and basically I was made to think I am wrong to do this...the parent, the educational psychologist, the area senco and FSA have all assessed the child and it is in writing that this is the last resort but indeed a method of calming the child, if you cup yo…

Ok, so I'm going to be applying to go through the threshold this coming year. My head has made it rather clear that it wont be easy and isn't a given so I'm being good and trying to make a start on it already so I know what I have to do. However, in good old tradition, just as I get to something, they change it! Threshold forms are different this year because of the new standards. Just wondered if anyone else is going through it and if you've got any help or anything! Why is it always me that gets the changes?!
