Virus Alert!
by Guest- 8 replies

There is a dangerous virus being passed around electronically, orally and by hand. This is called Weary Overload Recreational Killer (WORK) If you receive WORK from any of your colleagues, your boss or anyone else or by another means do not touch it. This virus will wipe out your private life completely. If you come into contact with WORK put your coat on and take 2 good friends to the nearest off licence. Purchase the antidote known as Work Isolating Neutralizer Extract (WINE) or Bothersome Employer Elimination Rebooter (BEER). Take the antidote repeatedly until WORK has been completely eliminated from your system. You should send this to five…

Hi all - Here's a birthday shout for jellybaby. For some reason she's been missed from the list, so I'd like anyone who's in the mood to wish her a happy birthday to do so!

Moaning Parents

Anyone got any ideas for how to deal with the most miserable lot of parents you've ever met in your life? I'm usually good with parents - spending a lot of time with them, reassuring them etc but this year nothing makes them happy and I've got a few who just seem determined to hate everything and spread trouble in the playground. This is quite bizarre really as a lot of them have come from outside the immediate area of the school (a village one) because of our good Ofsted in which Reception was praised. Sometimes I feel that they are waiting for me to perform an outstanding trick - rather like a performing seal! Perhaps that is the way forward . I have 2 parents' evening…

Hi Guys, I'm still finding my way around and I was wondering what the Gallery was and how to get in to it, as when I click on it an error always comes up saying I don't have access to it? Thanks Sally

I've joined a local freecycle site and it took over from the Forum, but have now got all we needed to fit out my sons girlfriends flat, so it is so nice to be back. Don't know where the time has gone as I've just subscribed for the third year. I missed having the Forum as my home page!!!!!!!

Steve. or anyone ?? Is there a problem in sending Steve emails? I sent one on the 8th and a couple more after that. One has registered that it has been sent (in my controls) but the others haven't. I know Steve is busy but he usually acknowledges. Has anyone had any problems - or is it just me? Sorry Sue J

Well I have some good news at last, I have started a work trial type thing with a local day nursery. I will be doing this for a couple of weeks and maybe a job at the end of it. I am doing 4 days per week, working in preschool, it is preschool room leader but maybe deputy nursery manager if I can do a good job. They have been intrucing me as the person to go to when the other 2 are not in the nursery. It has been a strange couple of days, I don't want to post stuff on here but it is going to be a chanllenging role once I settle in. I will be on here for your support in future (if I get the job of course). On another note I may have a different job offer workin…

A few weeks ago my father-in-laws garage was broken into and his car was vandalised. The insurance company wouldnt pay for the repairs because the car is 20 years old and in their opinion wasnt worth it. So to avoid having to try to find a car for the amount the insurance company offered him, he paid nearly £300 to repair it, that was after 2 weeks of being housebound. During that time I cooked for him every night and did his shopping, definitly not a problem, but it shows how 1 crime can mean more than just a few broken windows. The lad was caught, charged and taken to court where, we have just discovered, he was given a fine of £60. How the hell is that a deterant or…
