Puppy Hell

I know this has nothing to do with children but i wondered if any of you out there had words of wisdom as i'm desperate. We have a cocker spaniel puppy who is now just over 4 months old and he is driving me mad. If i leave the room he whines very loudly all the time. He doesn't stop. I left him for 3 hours last week on his own. When i returned he had messed all over the kitchen floor and was making a coughing noise making himself sick. Every morning i come down to a mess in the kitchen. This morning i came down to 4 number 2's, a wee, and 3 lots of flemmy stuff where it had made himself sick. I think i have a puppy with an anxiety problem. I don't know what to do, I'm at…

hi all we've decided we dont like the format of our files! its lots of tick boxes which have all the information but when it comes down to sharing with parents on open eve's the parents cant be bothered to read all through the boxes, dont get me wrong! most want to know how their child is doing but you know how boring paper work is to do let alone read!! i feel like i'm waffling now! anyway i have found an old system from 2001 it uses caterpillar pictures that you shade when child acheived that part. its called 'starting out' does anyone know it? is it far too old or do you think it would be ok if i adapted it a bit?

Hi! Does anyone know how to get whiteboard marker pen stains out of fabric?! As a mum, I have tried every remover available to no avail, and as a teacher it would be useful to be able to suggest a solution to frustrated parents!! Any ideas welcome!! Thanks!

I went for yet another interview today (primary school). Firstly went in with confidence then when I least expected it I got all flustered again, thinking it will be another no. Secondly I felt that they were superior to me as my chair height was smaller and it leaned back and made me feel uncomfoable. I will get some feedback tommorow as apparently I came a very close 2nd again, why does it keep happening? Anyhow looking for some help, any advice on how to get the job instead of comming a close 2nd all the time? Maybe I am missing something here? My problem is that I wish I could let the see me doing the job then they will see how good I am. Been reading…

Teachers Tv
by Steve- 14 replies

Hi all - I've been approached by Teachers TV who are making a Foundation Stage programme on resources. The programme is to have an expert who will recommend resources and a couple of panelists who will evaluate them. They also wanted a couple of teachers who would contribute in the following way: The teachers will take delivery of one of the resources and test it in their classroom with their own children. A small TV crew (camera, equipment and a couple of people) will then visit and film children using the resource. There may be a short interview with the teachers as well. Some or all of this footage would then appear as part of the programme. The question is wh…

'tux Paint'
by Guest- 9 replies

Our IT guy came in yesterday and installed tux paint on our smartboard. It is a free download and is one of the best programmes i have seen. The sound effects are brilliant and you can create any picture or sound on this programme. He then installed it on our computer in the classroom and the children can controll it with the mouse, the children have been sat waiting for their turn to go on the computer. If you go on google you can get it up .but its even better on the large smart boards.

I'm about to enter the dark and addictive world of scrapbooking (after this forum that is ) and I was wondering if anyone had any helpful hints for suppliers or websites that may be useful. I'm doing this all for baby, so child-related themed things would be most appropriate at this time. Thank you all!!
