Can't Believe It...

Tomorrow is my 1st wedding anniversary! I can't believe I've been married for a year. It feels like 2 weeks ago but then by the same token I feel like I've been married for ages. I'm taking Joe on a surprise trip tomorrow, I've booked us a suite at the venue, so hoping we have a fantastic time reliving the memories. Just been looking back through some of the unofficial photos online, so if anyone else would like a look then here is the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/nichola80/set...57594269253718/

Just had my trial and I hate it. I rarely wear make-up so said I didn't want it too heavy. It's my eyes I can't bear - there's a VERY THICK layer of eye liner on my top eye lid. I look awful.

One Hundred K... 1 2

Hi all - Another landmark number which people have mentioned to me over past days, is that we're approaching our 100,000th post. I reckon, by our posting rate, that this should happen over the next day or two. So, without wishing to introduce a post distortion field here, I reckon the 100,000th post ought to be worth a prize. Haven't yet decided what that might be, but I reckon the person to make the 100,000th post and the first person to point out that the 100,000th post has happened should be worthy of something... HOWEVER - If there is any tiny little feeling that posts are being made to push this forward, or jockey for position as the critical post aris…

Well it happened today, i put up the new poster and today they arrived. I'm now losing the will, they are doing a 2 day inspection and now i have a load of forms to fill in for a suitable persons interview tomorrow. I'm reading the questions and my mind is blank, i think it is nerves. They are questions like how do you influence practice and how do you support EAL. current strengths and weaknesses. I'm also stressing over the activities tomorrow, oh i just want a hole to open up and i will sink into it. Oh well i will try some chocolate then come back!!!!!

As I am moving from Yr 1 into reception in Sept I thought I would go into school at the beginning of the hols to get the classroom ready (you know... whilst still in work mode - always found this better in the past as I chill better for the rest of the holidays BUT.... Ha! - Not this time - toilet in classroom had faulty ballcock and has overfowed all over the classroom by the time I got there the caretaker had sucked up all the water but the WHOLE room is still soaking wet - it will take til september to dry and worse of all it really STINKS. Head on holiday and deputy doesnt want to ok cleaning cost as she isn't sure whether it will be an insurance job and they…

anyone else feel like they get trapped in their own little comfort zone?? For me it's clothes.....seem to wear black, black & more black This I am now beginning to realise was because I had a few pounds (stones! ) to lose and anything I tried on didn't look nice (to me anyway) Back in the Easter hols I decided to start taking control and went on a diet.....now July I have lost 23lb, feeling a lot happier and healthier (still a little way to go though) and I am wearing my first, yes first ever pair of trousers (3/4 lenght ) and brought some new clothes for my holiday in 2 weeks time. What I thought looked awful in fact is the opposite and everyone says how nice i'…
