I have seen a job on one of my local gumtree website. They would like an experienced/qualified nanny, for 3 or 4 days per week looking after 2 children. Any ideas what this means, I am intersted in the postion however I am unsure of what to do. What do you think I should do, this would be my first possible nanny job. Should have been in foreign parts tonight. Was very apprehensive about our annual holiday as elder son was off with his girlfriend and her family to Italy and the 3 of us were off to Austria today. Elder son had a very early flight so we checked into a hotel near the airport last night. Husband escorted son to bus stop this morning to take him off to the terminal when very unexpectedly, after a break of over 5 years, son had a seizure. So now we are back at home contemplating the insurance wrangles and wondering whether we can get anything else sorted at short notice for our holiday. I have heard that in the last couple of days Kefalonia is on fire! It as distroyed 2 villages on the mountain side already. :unsure: At the moment it is spreading on Mount Enos and down towards Skala on the southeast coast, there are also power cuts in other parts of the island. Stangest thing is that on our last day back to the airport we were saying how dry the vegtation is and could easly become a fire. Well its a bit spooky 1 1/2 weeks later part of the island is on fire. :rolleyes: :wacko: I for one will be keeping an eye out on the progress of the fire. I hope it doesn't reach Sami on the North coast, it would be a shame to loose all the nice view…

ok so its nearly the end of term, three weeks and counting... and where is the summer? this morning I went into work to find the rain has washed my posters off a wall because we have had a leak, nothing major like yorkshire but annoying all the same. the children are climbing the walls to get some good quality outdoor play time with all the dry play activities, puddles are ok but you can have too much of a good thing honest!
