What wonderful news for Alan's family and friends that he has now been released after his horrendous experience. Hurray for the pressure put on the kidnappers by the rest of the world.

For those that don't know I teach in a special school for kids with severe (SLD) or profound and multiple(PMLD) learning difficulties. My current class have lots of quite severe behaviour problems as well as SLD/PMLD and my current lot are very cute with hardly any behaviour difficulties. I've got a whole new staff team to support me, part of which is a husband and wife team who are job sharing the week! We've Made It!

Well, we've made it! Our move to Dorset went ahead this week we are now installed in our brand new apartment. We are sitting on camp chairs surrounded by boxes. Our new furniture is arriving in two weeks. We are so relieved that the move is over as the past few weeks have been quite stressful. If only it would stop raining, we could go out and enjoy our new surroundings. Now my retirement really begins!

This is Beth's way of getting out of doing anything you don't want to do: 1) find a bird cage 2) find a small step 3) forget it's there..... 4) bang head, cut arm on cage as you fall over 5) go slightly in to shock and 6) go to A&E only to be told you will be fine to fly tommorow but rest.... 7) get out of going to church. Just in case you where wondering I am fine, bird cage is not will need to get a new one after holidays. Beth
